The show follows Travis and the Nitro Circus Crew as they travel around the world setting up outrageous stunts and pushing the human body to the limit, constantlylooking to innovate the world of action sports. Those whose instant mental riposte is "not to mention our relationship with common sense" are definitely not the target audience.

Watching people take their lives into their hands shouldn't be as tedious as Nitro Circus: The Movie 3D.
The personalities on screen have such limited shticks, such one-dimensional ideas, that they're no fun to hang out with.
Remains firmly planted in the realm of the inarticulate dude-bro, where shirtless men gleefully engage in physical acts of self-inflicted pain without a trace of real self-awareness or understanding.
When something that was originally slapdash and spontaneous becomes big business, part of the fun always seems to go out of it, a phenomenon that you can feel throughout "Nitro Circus: The Movie 3D."
The 3D action-sports documentary Nitro Circus: The Movie has a few bonus dimensions, but that doesn't make it deep.
Various bike-, auto- and skate-inspired shenanigans do not a movie make.
A movie full of stupid human tricks. Makes you wonder why anyone would make a movie about these guys (and one gal).
The Jackass stunts are at least outrageous and disgusting, eliciting much stronger reactions. Nitro Cirtus is equally dumb, and much duller to boot.
Yes, this is the same [stuff] you've seen from this crew on their 2009 MTV show, but this time, it's in 3D and costs $15.
The banter between the group lacks much wit or humor. Then again, that's hardly the point.
Exhausting and repetitively reckless - better to watch it - free - on MTV or elsewhere.

Nitro Circus is an overcooked sham, too broad to take seriously, while treating genuine injury as an opportunity to point and laugh.
While the Nitro Circus's many achievements are impressive, they pale in comparison to those of Knoxville and company's.
